Here you can see that the flue is not fitted correctly ... soot is visible on the outer rubber seal.

Angle of flue is incorrect, and it was noted on the  landlord's certificate. No action had been taken.

Here the radiators are found to be full of blackwater, indicating the system has problems.

The iron content should be lower than 4 PPM (parts per million).

Here you see plastic pipes joining copper pipes (of course they'll be likely to leak!) and apalling wiring using electrical tape for connections. Highly dangerous and very likely to break down.

A large gas company passed this fit for use, issued a certificate, and charged £35 a month to keep it like this!!!
